The &quot;insta birth&quot; in the opening scene had me wondering along these lines from the very beginning. I was thinking &quot;Oh, god no! Please show me that we will have figured out a better way to help women give birth!&quot; Even if it is in the midst of a battle and evacuation, the trappings and procedures that surrounded it are all too similar to the current medical model...

Then cut to the next scene and we get to see what the police of the future look like as one of them chases the juvenile delinquent Jim Kirk...YIKES! Is that a human being in that scary robocop outfit? I felt challenged, I guess, but not in the way I ever was by the tv shows.</description>
